This Trio, originally in D, from Hook’s Opus 83, described as being for “three flutes or for flute, violin and tenor (viola)”, has been transposed up a minor third to fit three treble recorders. The original print is relatively free of errors, though bar 38 of the bass part is missing in the first movement. Editorial slurs appear dotted.
