Debussy: Syrinx (1913)

For solo recorder (alto / tenor).  This classic of the flute repertoire transfers surprisingly well to the recorder, as fans of Walter van Hauwe and Piers Adams will know.  Especially effective on a good tenor.  It was originally intended to be played offstage.
